New Developments

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 24, 2009, 7:31 PM
Well, amidst the haze that has been my life for the past year, there is some good news.

I am finally getting a new pc. It should arrive sometime at the end of this month or beginning of the next. I will have to transfer all my work from the old to the new. Since my pc has been unstable lately, no new work has been posted in my gallery. I'm waiting to get everything scanned into the new system.

Secondly, I'm moving back to Florida and out of hick-ville. After much thought, the remainder of my family has decided to go back to the Tampa Bay Area. I never realized just how much we left down there, and how many opportunities I never took advantage of when I was younger. Now I can, and will. There is so much more there, and being close to the ocean again will be great. I've missed it alot.
There's nothing but bad memories and empty space where we are at the moment. I'm unbelievable glad we're leaving it all behind. I want to start everything over for the better.

In the meantime, I'm occupying part of my time watching a few anime series I found interesting. I'm currently watching Claymore. If you love supernatural warrior women, then I highly recommend this. Haven't even finished it yet and I'm hooked. ^_^

Chat later. :)

Is it a real town named Hicksville or is it a place where many hicks reside? It could also be both. ^_^
I've just had a hard time dealing with some people in my area. They can be very redneck-ish. It isn't pretty at all.

Thanx for the yay on moving and the new pc. I always appreciate yays. :)

Nah, a "hickish" place. I don't even live in a town, I live in a very rural area. There is a place around here called Cooterneck and Roosterpoot though...pretty funny and hickish.

Yeah I figured. Those names are so ridiculous. There's even a city in Alabama named Bunnykill. That's really a sad attempt at giving a place you live a name.

Florida, eh? The land of almost eternal sunshine, I used to live there. Nice place to live, despite the lack of snow. :P The heat takes a little getting used to though.

The sands of time, they drift away
oh gone are they, like yesterday,
today has gone away.

The heat is one thing I didn't miss too much, but I'll take it with everything I've missed so much.

Huzzah for new PC and moving! Hope you have some time to visit the beach. :) It really is nice (though when I lived in SC, we were always too busy to visit. ^^;)

We always made time to visit the beach, it's a good place to just sit and meditate. The waves are a wonderful sound.

Yeah. :D We always meant to, and we did on occasion, but not as often as my mom would have liked.
