Hello guys, I have some news. I have seen a local woman who will be making my prints in-house for me, and I have some pieces listed for print the next time I see her.

I had to re-scan alot of the images for higher resolution for better print quality. I think the investment will be well worth it once I find some festivals and such to sell them at.

I don't have the exact print sizes figured out just yet, but I will soon. I will list it as soon as possible.

I'm proud to say that I've gotten 4 commissions in the last two or three weeks. All have been for colored pencil portraits of pets and in one case a parrot just like mine. ^_^ My next work coming is off some very beautiful horses I had the privilege of visiting in town to take some photos of them . They may have been the most beautiful horses I've ever seen up close, and very friendly. One of them decided to sneak behind me while I was taking a pic and put his nose against my back. Then he put his head over my shoulder. He was so lovey dovey. ^^ He also had very gorgeous eyes, with blue and brown in them.

On a not so good note, my Grandmother ended up in the hospital due to a recurring problem she's had for a long time. Before I was born, she had uterine cancer, and had to undergo radiation, and as a result part of her intestinal tract developed some sort of scar tissue. Since then, she's had issues whenever she eats certain kinds of food, or even if she's stressed, she gets a blockage and gets very sick and vomits. Because she was so weak this time, they decided to take her to the hospital in Atlanta. She is doing better, and should be coming home in a day or two. I just hate that she has to go through all this. My Mom and I are there with my Grandparents as much as we can be, to take care of them and give them company. I glad that our being there comforts them.

In the new neighborhood, we have met more people, and Ash has made some new friends out of the two little girls that live next door. It's cute and they love to play with him. ^_^

Oh and I'm being featured on Oct. 12 in 's journal. And each day I update and keep in touch with friends here, the more people I get to know. I'm very grateful for that. It's really great meeting new people on DA, and becoming better known for my work everyday. It seems even as screwed up as life can be at times, there are the finer points that lift me up.
One of the things I've come to embrace as a motto about people in general is this: "Be yourself, because those who matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter."
It is one of the truest things I've ever read. And in the case of friends I've had in the past, it has unfortunately proven true. But as it goes, they simply no longer matter and I must go on. This is a new start in my own life.

Oh, and I had some great fun with some photos of my cat and my bird and made some funny LOLcat & LOLbird piccys. Enjoy verily. ^___^

I just ordered a really cute costume here [link] , and I think I may walk around the neighborhood and get me some candeh. Other than handing it out, I may decide to collect my own stash, since I never eat much candy. Happy Holloween!! ^_^
