Working on expressions for some original characters. I picked up a book a while back that has been a hugs help in capturing expressions. It's called "Expressions" by Mark Simon. A great addition to any artist's reference material.
I had to add a couple of my own touches as well, in terms of the ear movement in response to each mood or emotion. Wasn't too hard, since they can be readily observed by many animal species. This is a human character, but genetically altered to have animal traits that make them more effective hunters and overall survivors. ~Angela |
